As an Expert Witness for a major carrier, Expert Evaluations helped represent a heat exchanger manufacturer in a multi-million dollar lawsuit by a major hydroelectric manufacturer at major Quebec Utility.


As a Repair Consultant for a major Carrier, Expert Evaluations identified probable cause of failure (over-speed) of a chiller drive steam turbine as being the fault of the mechanical contractor with satisfactory subrogation litigation follow up.  


As a Repair Consultant, Expert Evaluations helped negotiate settlement of a condenser repair, paying only for the re-tube of tubes damaged by loss of a last stage blade verses a complete detube as requested by a major PA Utility (about 25% of original claim paid).  


As a Subrogation Expert, Expert Evaluations outlined a case against contractors for a powerhouse flood at a lock and dam in the Mississippi River.


As a Repair Consultant, Expert Evaluations challenged the repair time requested by a hydro owner's repair shop which would have caused a high business interruption cost.  EEI helped the owner find a different shop much to their satisfaction (for several flooded powerhouses, we engineered the remanufacturing repair at the hydraulic systems).  


As a Quasi Forensic Accountant, Expert Evaluations was asked by a carrier to review BI costs for 8 months for an apparently minor machine breakdown.  Expert Evaluations found most of the time was waiting for a "special crane."  Expert Evaluations couldn't see why it was special and upon further investigation found it was the owners crane under a different business name which he delayed provided for which he overcharged.  Expert Evaluations participated in an insurance fraud conversation with the owners!
